i have read a few things about this email marketing, basically what i

this email marketing thing works like this -

you give some valuable content to the users, in return they give you
their email address,

then you give them some more valuable content, and within that email
give them something to market, that is - you give them something to
buy, and earn commissions from them.

targeted email lists are extremely valuable.
